This course will help you develop your knowledge and experience of working with horses. You will study stable management horse behaviour nutrition and biology as well as business management. As part of the Dressage Academy you will also take part in weekly dressage training sessions with a specialist coach and fitness training sessions. Professional and vocational qualifications lead to accreditation be it from an examining body such as City & Guilds or Edexcel or professional recognition such as from Construction Skills or Lantra. The Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF) recognises vocational achievement through the attainment of credits for units of study and for whole qualifications. The smallest qualification is the Award then the Certificate and the largest is the Diploma although there are other intermediate qualifications also available. The duration of study will typically reflect the size of the qualification.
