Mathematics is a universal part of human culture. It is the tool and language of commerce, engineering and other sciences - physics, computing, biology etc. An A-Level in mathematics provides you with a broad range of skills in problem solving, logical reasoning and flexible thinking. This leads to careers that are exciting, challenging and diverse in nature. As part of the course at Hornsea you will have the opportunity to study a wide variety of modules which are well supported by all staff within the department. There is also a yearly trip to Amsterdam that is open to both AS and A2 students. What will you be learning?
