The course involves a design and make assignment in which students select their own context from which they design and manufacture their own textile product which meets the original need. It is envisioned that students will apply knowledge and understanding from other units to enhance their design and make activity. This course aims to provide an opportunity to develop their own creativity, capability and entrepreneurial skills, to apply knowledge and understanding to a range of technological activities and to develop critical thinking and collaborative skills.
