Week 2 - An overview of customer service looking at dealing with difficult situations, responding to challenge and working as part of a team. After the course, learners will be more confident volunteers, who will be able to contribute more to their local community, increasing community cohesion and being more self-reliant. Volunteering is a recognised method of preparing to return to work and to gain work related skills. It can also contribute to tackling feelings of isolation and help reduce the risk of depression. By encouraging people to become more active in their local community and to support others.
