3 day course in confidence & self-esteem, self-marketing skills and interview prep. By the end of the course learners will have a CV, will have had a mock interview in the job field of their choice, and have had an IAG session to turn their awareness of their strengths and barriers into an action plan personalised to them. The courses are delivered in priority areas to those who are most disadvantaged to raise aspirations and support self-sufficiency while also supporting progression in a personalised way. We have arranged venues in the community, which will enhance the use of these community spaces, as well as raise the visibility of our own offering through sharing premises and This offering meets a number of local priorities including: jobs for local people, particularly in reducing unemployment, encouraging participation in the life of the City, fostering community cohesion, meeting the needs of local residents, and through using established community venues to deliver efficiencies through working with partners.
