You will receive both group and individual support and assessment to identify the skills you need to increase your chances of finding a job and meet Job Centre Plus criteria.Informal in style, this drop-in club will help you achieve your individual needs in searching for work. Areas you can receive support with include: Preparing a CV that works! Researching local job opportunities Interview Skills Setting up an email account and using online search tools Confidence Building Job application letters Preparing for an interview Using Universal Jobs match & Universal Credit ICT support Improving personal and social skills Asking for and receiving feedbackPlease note that Job Clubs can often be busy, and individual 1:1 support may sometimes be limited. Our staff will endeavour to work with you to increase your skills and confidence in order for you to complete work independently.When additional employment support needs are identified, we will sign-post you to other employment workshops that will help to enhance your learning and support the work you do in the Job Club.This course is subsidised by Government funding so you should aim to attend the course until you have achieved your goals. You do not have to have any experience in the subject but you must be either unemployed, searching for work or at risk of redundancy.You can come along on your own accord or be referred from your local job centre or another organisation. You will receive help and support in identifying and progressing towards your next step. This may include being sign-posted to other agencies for more detailed information or support.Other courses at the next level may be offered by Skills&Learning or other local providers.
