AgeWell Computers Beginners - Step 2

This course offers you the chance to get to know how to use a computer with success, increasing your inclusion in the community through the fascinating world of technology and keeping you in touch with friends old and new. The friendly classroom environment is a great place for social interaction and helping you meet new people.The course will consolidate and further develop your current skills in: How to run programs Computer and email security: if you want to focus on email you need to know your address and password so you can access them remotely Use word processing to create documents Saving and filing documents and photographs  Navigating the internet You will have completed a Step 1 course (or equivalent) and have a basic knowledge of the subject. You must also be over 60 and living alone. After completing Step 2, you will have gained some basic knowledge to enable you to continue your learning at Step 3.This course and other courses at the next level may be offered by Skills & Learning or other local providers.
