Duration: 1 year Prepare for a career in the retail automotive industry as either a technician or associated motor industry role. You will discover how to meet health and safety requirements in the workshop and learn how to: - Carry out routine vehicle maintenance - Remove and replace units and components relating to engines',' transmissions',' steering',' suspension',' brakes and electrical and electronic systems English and Maths GCSE are a key part of this course. You will be assessed by practical and written tasks and online tests. Supported work experience will be arranged with a work experience coordinator. Entry Requirements: You need four GCSE Grades D-G with a minimum of GCSE Grade D in both English and Maths. Alternatively',' Level 1 Diploma in Motor Vehicle Technology and Maintenance plus English and Maths Grade D',' or functional skills Level 2.
