The awarding body for this qualification is City and Guilds. Are you interested in gaining new skills to enhance your career? This is a qualification course for learners wishing to develop skills in preparing computerised accounts using Sage software. By the end of the course learners will be able to: Understand the principles and policies on which accounting is based Add new accounts to purchase and sales ledgers Create accounts in the nominal ledger from given information Process transactions involving differing tax liabilities Process information in respect of the purchase ledger e.g. invoices, credit notes, payments Process transactions in respect of the nominal ledger e.g. payments and receipts Introduce capital to the accounts Print out copies of customer and supplier activity reports, nominal ledger reports and trial balances as requested Appreciate the breadth of accounting activities Understand the importance of accuracy and skills in using and verifying financial information.
