This is a practical qualification and you will be carrying out hair services on clients in the salon based at Hyde Park House. You will practise your skills on friends and family that you have invited to the salon. The awarding body for this qualification is City and Guilds. To complete the qualification and receive your certificate, you will need to be satisfactorily assessed on the following mandatory units: Make sure your own actions reduce risks to health and safety Give clients a positive impression of yourself and your organisation Advise and consult with clients Shampoo, condition and treat the hair and scalp Change hair colour Style and finish hair Set and dress hair Cut hair using basic techniques
