The AM2 test is a licensed National Electrotechnical Training (NET) practical test and it must be taken by electrical installations apprentices who are approaching the end of their Apprenticeship and anyone who wishes to use the test to accredit practical experience. The AM2 test comprises four sections - composite installation, visual estimation and functional operation; inspection and testing the installation; safe isolation of supplies and test unit (including risk assessment); and fault diagnosis and fault rectification. We offer testing throughout the year. For anyone who wishes to study an AM2 preparation course, to prepare them for the AM2 test, we offer a one day preparation course throughout the year.
