The course combines academic study withpracticeto give you a challenging professional qualification in Social Work. Together with Social Services departments and Voluntary Agencies, we plan and manage your programme. We are committed to increasing the involvement ofcarersand people that use the services of Social Workers in the programme planning and delivery. You have the option of completing LevelFour over two years, leading to an award at the end of four years. This course is approved by the Health and Care Professions Council and endorsed by the College of Social Work). Social work is a regulated by the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). As a social work student you will be expected to register with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) on successful completion of the course and adhere to the standards of conduct, performance and ethics. As well as regulating individual social workers and students, the HCPC also regulate the performance of social work courses.
