In this course we will take the fear out of many aspects of sewing. If you are a total beginner you will learn how to thread a sewing machine, to select straight and zig-zag stitches and how to stitch accurately. You will also learn how to make sense of a commercial pattern and start to make simple garments using one. Other techniques covered include various seams and hemming methods and creating an elastic casing. If you already have some basic experience then this is not the right course for you.
