The Apprenticeship is made up of the following five components: 1. Edexcel BTEC Level 3 Diploma-Construction and the Built Environment (delivered in college) There are a total of EIGHT units delivered over 24 months which cover the following topics: Unit 1 Maintaining systems for health, safety, welfare and environmental protection in the workplace •Unit 2 Assessing and recommending work methods for carrying out site operations in the workplace •Unit 3 Planning activities and resources to meet work requirements in the workplace •Unit 4 Coordinating and organising the control of work in the workplace •Unit 5 Controlling work progress against agreed programmes in the workplace •Unit 6 Allocating and monitoring the use of plant, equipment or machinery in the workplace Optional units 2. Edexcel Level 3 -Construction and the Built Environment (delivered in the workplace) 3. Functional Skills in English, maths and ICT. 4. Employee Rights and Responsibilities (ERR)
