Traditional black and white darkrooms, . fully equipped drive.in studio, . dedicated computer rooms, . medium format cameras and digital backs, . a wide range of studio and location flash units, . a wide range of digital cameras and lenses, . qualified staff, . visiting speakers, . employer engagement. How big are the group sizes? There are 20 students per group. How many staff teach on the course? There is one full time and two part time members of staff who are both professional photographers. We also have a full time photography technician. How much work do I need to do? The course's modules have a balance of both written and practical work. As well as academic qualifications, can I also obtain professional qualifications? Yes. We are affiliated to the British Institute of Professional Photographers (BIPP) and the Association of Photographers (AOP). We also have links with the Royal Society of Photographers (RPS). Do you work with external companies? We always work with a variety of external companies including Huddersfield Town Football Club, charities, fashion companies and animal care organisations. We have been to Hong Kong, San Francisco, Florence, New York, Cuba and London. Do students exhibit externally? Year 1: Exhibition at West Yorkshire Print Workshop, Mirfield Year 2: Exhibition in the Photographers Gallery, Dean Clough, Halifax Year 3: Exhibition at Free Range graduate show, Truman Brewery, London What are the college facilities? Library, refectory, art shop, various workshops (darkroom, woodwork, printmaking).
