This qualification recognises the application of a range of IT skills and knowledge in the workplace, meeting employer workforce demands. The flexibility of this qualification will allow you to adapt your skills for a specific job. The Apprenticeships will include: Intermediate Apprenticeship (level 2) Certificate in ICT Systems and Principles level 2 Diploma in Professional Competence for IT and Telecoms Professionals level 2. English, maths and ICT level 1. Employee rights and responsibilities. Personal learning and thinking skills. Advanced Apprenticeship (level 3) Certificate or Diploma in ICT Systems and Principles level 3. Diploma in Professional Competence for IT and Telecoms Professionals. English, maths and ICT level 2. Employee rights and responsibilities. Personal learning and thinking skills. You must have an employer to support you through your Apprenticeship and give you time off work to attend college. If you want to progress to university you will need GCSE maths grade C. If you want to develop your skills or gain access to a wide range of IT professional jobs or deal with the application of a range of IT skills and knowledge in the workplace, this course is for you. Module examples include: Data modelling, Event driven programming, Software installation and upgrade, Technical fault diagnosis, Maintaining equipment and IT systems, Working with ICT hardware and software.
