Animation is one of the most rapidly expanding areas of the creative industries. And who doesn't like being dazzled by the technical wizardry used to create amazing special effects in modern film and video productions? This introductory course to animation and special effects for film and video provides a first step into this creative world, showcasing the broad range of skills you will need if you are considering a career in computer animation. Based in our well-equipped University Campus in Weston-super-Mare, just south of Bristol, you will use basic animation packages, explore visual storytelling, and develop the skills and knowledge you will need to prepare you for a higher level of study and to take your animation and special effects aspirations further.
