If you have a passion for travel and want a career in the aviation and tourism industry, look no further. As part of this qualification you will study a Certificate in Introduction to Travel and Tourism. Contents include: Background to the travel and tourism industry Aviation industry Travel geography Aviation terminology Working in a team Customer service Working in the travel and aviation industry Plus nationally recognised English and Maths qualifications Learners will also study a qualification in Employability and Personal Development; this will prepare them for employment covering CV writing, making applications, applying for jobs and what makes a successful interview. Visits are also arranged, including a one day aviation course at Birmingham Airport where you will work both air and landside.
