This is the qualification needed to work as a stylist. Learners will practice all aspects of hairdressing services on a wide range of customers within our newly refurbished commercially equipped salon. Contents include: Consultation services Advanced cutting skills Advanced colouring Providing colour correction Hair extentions (optional) Creatively styling and dressing hair Contributing to the planning and complementation of promotional activities As part of this study programme you will work towards English and Maths. This will provide learners with the skills needed to perform confidently,effectively and independently in learning,life and work. Learners will enjoy visits to hair and beauty exhibitions including Beauty Uk and the Clothes Show. Work experience is an essential part of this study programme and learners will be regularly entering competitions to improve their creative skills.
