This standalone NVQ is a level 3 qualification and is essentially a diary of the work you carry out while in the employ of a practicing electrician.Our Assessor will visit you onsite a number of times to assess your competence and you will be required to attend college workshops on a mutually agreed basis.Upon completion of your NVQ you will be required to sit an external exam (AM2) at another college which forms the summative assessment of your competence.Entry requirements:You will need to be computer literate as the diary is electronic. (Initial training will be given).You will need to be working within the Industry and have already completed a level 2 AND level 3 in Electrical Installation. (Certificates will need to be seen)Your employer/place of work will need to be able to cover the installation requirements as determined by our Assessor.
