Getting to Know Your Sewing Machine

This course covers getting to know the different functions of your sewing machine and learning how to do your own simple maintenance to keep it in good working order. You will create a portfolio of samples to use for future reference.The course will be taught through practical demonstrations and hands on activities.Students would be able to progress on to NCFE Level 1 Dressmaking, Level 2 City & Guilds in Patchwork and Quilting, Level 2 City & Guilds in Embroidery or the College Certificate in Patchwork and Quilting.
