This course covers all the basic first aid skills, including : - Resuscitation. - Recovery position. - Control of bleeding. - Heart attacks. - Burns and scalds. - Choking. - Reporting accidents - Maintaining an approved First Aid kit - Emergency priorities This course will give students the confidence to deal with the First Aid situations that may arise with family members and in the home.This course will be a mix of theoretical and practical work.Students may wish to progress to accredited First Aid at Work courses in order to gain a recognised qualification.
