The course will focus on modern dance, with techniques from Modern Dance and Improvisation taught. Each session will begin with an introduction to a step or movement, which once practised to music, will be developed in to an improvised dance. You will work individually, in small groups or in one large group. Through all sessions the priority will be on having fun, enjoying and exploring different movements, being spontaneous and developing an appreciation of music. As an unaccredited course there will be no assessment or qualification.New steps and techniques will be demonstrated. However, the emphasis is on participation!Students may continue to attend these classes. If demand exists, college will put on a more advanced class.
