Introduction to Welding Thurs(Funded by Staffs County Council)

This course has been designed to introduce you to basic welding processes and the health & safety aspects related to welding practices; ideal for anyone interested in learning welding techniques for DIY or to progress onto gaining Welding qualifications. After completing the Introduction to Welding course you will be fully profitient to then go onto courses if you wish where you can gainfications such as MIG (Metal Inert Gas/MAG (Metal Active Gas) and TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas). Week 1 will entail a Health & Safety Induction before visiting the shop floor where welding terminology and course content will be discussed. The following weeks will cover different welding processes.
