The Construction and Civil Engineering courses at level 3 offer a programme of study that will allow progression onto higher level courses. ( e.g. HNC /degrees ). They are aimed at people wishing to study a technical subject that would allow career progression into many different types of jobs. These would include architecture, civil engineering, quantity surveying, building surveying, site management, structural engineering, energy industry, marine defence and many more. The careers within the industries provide a varied and financially attractive choice for enthusiastic and motivated people. Many students have completed courses at level 3 / 4 and gone on to have a very successful career. The courses are two years in length and attendance at college is one day per week. Technical apprenticeships are also available for people already employed in the industry.
