This course is ideal for those working or intending to work as accounting professionals / support staff in accounts, administration or finance functions. Candidates study units including Bookkeeping, Data Processing, Cost Accounting and Administration in a finance environment with Ethics. The Foundation Certificate is part of a three-stage, competency based Education and Training Scheme offered by The Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT), the largest dedicated professional body for qualified accounting technicians. The AAT Foundation Certificate in Accounting requires a Total Qualification time of 340 hours and attracts 34 credits. The course is divided into five units: 1.
