This course offers learners the opportunity to further enhance their knowledge, skills and understanding of the varied public services. Personal skills and qualities essential for employment and higher level study will be developed throughout the programme. Students will study a full range of units including Command and Control, Citizenship and Diversity, Police Powers, Security Procedures, Government Policy, Leadership and Teamwork in the Public Services, Understanding Discipline, Fitness Testing; Exercise, Health and Lifestyle and many more.

Each unit will be graded Pass, Merit or Distinction which will contribute to an overall double grade profile (e.g. PP, MM, DD, D*D*). There will be a minimum of three assignments per unit.
