Beginners will learn basic hand building techniques. Applying surface decoration. Glazing.Throwing on the potter's wheel. As your confidence in your skills develop you will be able to apply them to your own creative ideas. This course is for all abilities, beginners will be led through basic the methods with which to develop creative work in clay. What do I need to bring? 1-You will get dirty so bring an apron or wear clothes that can get soiled without worry. 2- if you have eczema bring your barrier cream/treatment creams with you. 3-A small notebook to record glazes used etc will be very useful as it is easy to forget which glaze or combination of glazes you have used.
