This course will provide students with the opportunity to study the broad and stimulating field of Photography. The course provides a sound technical background and will help students develop both commercial and personally creative work. Students will work with both traditional methods of image making as well as digital methods. You will study the following units: Core Units - Visual Recording in Art and Design Materials; Techniques and Processes; Ideas and Concepts in Art and Design; Communication through Art and Design. Specialist Units - Computers in Art and Design Photography; Photography Media, Techniques and Technology; Photographic Studio Techniques; Location Photography; Experimental Imagery in Photography. Projects will include documentary photography, fashion and portraiture and pinhole photography
