English & maths courses are free of charge and will vary in length depending on your individual needs and requirements. The Maths Functional Skills qualification provides you with a flexible, relevant and highly personalised route to a qualification and the opportunity to secure the skills needed for your next steps in life, work and study. Your personalised Maths learning journey begins with an initial and diagnostic assessment of your Maths skills. From here you will work through the areas that you need to develop, which could include: Number, Percantages/ Fractions/ Decimals, Handling Data, Statistics & Probability, Measure/ Space/ Volume and more. Study time is 45 hours and Functional Maths aims to equip you with the skills you will need to work out questions related to every day mathematical problems. At the end of your studies you will complete an online test.
