Performance - music of the world

Students will learn about: different styles of music from various cultures around the world, instruments used around the world, the cultures from which the music comes, make your own music based on improvising and engage in writing song lyrics, learn songs from different cultures and do movement and dancing activities. There will be opportunities for improving communication through some discussion. Play improvised short pieces of music in different styles. Write lyrics and sing songs composed by the class group.
