An exciting opportunity to explore the art of stack fusing. Create glass blocks by layering glass, add some inclusions and then fuse. Make a variety of samples that will be used to influence your final piece of work.

These may include: observation, completion of an Individual Learning Plan which will be updated regularly, evaluation of work samples, question and answer sessions, photographs of projects to record achievement presented on Moodle. Entry requirements

A small charge is included in the fee for basic materials and where appropriate a charge has been included for use of specialist equipment. Learners will be expected to purchase all glass, drawing and writing equipment, all relevant materials to complete your personal project. The glass required will depend on the size of projects you undertake. The title of the course is 'explore' therefore it is advisable to work within a small scale. This will be discussed with the course tutor and will not be covered in the course materials fee. Please do not purchase anything before your first lesson unless requested to do so. No liability can be accepted for expenses incurred for a course cancelled/altered at short notice.
