You will study both practical and theory based units designed to develop your knowledge in appropriate workshop/site safety, electrical principles, science and regulations. The units of the course will cover the following topics: - Health and Safety in Building Services Engineering - Principles of Electrical Science - Electrical Installations - Installation of Wiring Systems and Enclosures - Understand How to Communicate with Others Within Building Services Engineering. If you have not yet achieved a grade C (or above) in GCSE English and maths, you will be required to attend GCSE resit sessions (if you achieved grade D) or functional skills sessions (if you achieved grade E or below).
