You will work with experienced lecturers to develop your practical skills and knowledge across all aspects of hairdressing with a strong empthasis on colour correction. You will work in a realistic work environment as you study the following topics: - Monitor and Maintain Health & Safety Practice - Consultation Support - Style and Dress Hair Using a Variety of Techniques - Colour Hair to Create a Variety of Looks - Hair Colour Correction - Promote Products and Services to Clients - Cut Women's Hair to Create a Variety of Looks - Creative Design Skills If you have not yet achieved a grade C (or above) in GCSE English and maths, you will be required to attend GCSE resit sessions (if you achieved grade D) or functional skills sessions (if you achieved grade E or below).
