You will work in class on your industry knowledge and utilise your practical skills in our work based salon environment. You will develop your future career prospects too, as you take part in a valuable work experience programme. You will attend college 3 days a week which will include one evening. Whilst on this course, you can expect to cover the following topics: - Applying Microdermabrasion - Applying Stone Therapy Massages - Providing Self-Tanning - Providing Body & Facial Electrotherapy Treatments - Providing Body Massages - Promote & Sell Products/Services to Clients - Client Care & Communication - Health & Safety Practice - Working with Others It should be noted that you will be timetabled for additional work related activities that may be off campus. If you have not yet achieved a grade C (or above) in GCSE English and maths, you will be required to attend GCSE resit sessions (if you achieved grade D) or functional skills sessions (if you achieved grade E or below).
