You will work in our industry standard recording studios, rehearsal rooms and computer suites to complete practical assignments based around musical performance and technology. This work will be supported by contextual and theoretical studies to provide you with a broad understanding of the industry. You can expect to cover following topics: - Sound Design - Composition for Film & Games - Live Sound - Studio Recording Techniques - MIDI Sequencing - Music Technology in Performance - Events Management - DJ Performance - Radio Programming - Music Video Production - Marketing - Acoustics If you have not yet achieved a grade C (or above) in GCSE English and maths, you will be required to attend GCSE resit sessions (if you achieved grade D) or functional skills sessions (if you achieved grade E or below).
