These units will cover the following topics: Working Safely in an Engineering Environment Carrying Out Engineering Activities Efficiently & Effectively Using and Communicating Technical Information Producing Components Using Hand Fitting Techniques Preparing and Using Lathes for Turning Operations Preparing and Using Milling Machines If you have not yet achieved a grade C (or above) in GCSE English and maths, you will be required to attend GCSE resit sessions (if you achieved grade D) or functional skills sessions (if you achieved grade E or below).
