This course give opportunities to people with additional learning needs, such a learning disabilities and/or difficulties, sensory impairment and mental health problems. This course is designed to help learners gain confidence in managing their money responsibly, develop skills in planning and budgeting for their needs and gain practise in shopping and working with money. Course outcomes will include The need for budgeting and managing money responsibly Understanding and working with money Identifying needs and planning shopping lists Shopping practise - looking for goods, identifying bargains and what is best value for money, paying for goods and identifying if change is correct Examining the risks when dealing with money and paying for goods and services.
