Hatmaking - soft fabric hats

On this course you will learn how to use flat patterns to successfully cut, make and sew a pair of soft hats and/or caps using a sewing machine. You will learn about a range of different fabrics & their suitable interlinings, essential resources & equipment and decorative techniques for making hats and caps.

You will need to bring your choice of outer fabric/s to the 2nd session, so you may wish to discuss your design ideas and preferences with the tutor in the first week.
