This course examines British art produced during the 1930s and on into WW2, including Eric Ravilious and lesser-known Albert Richards. Topics from the 1950s include Henry Moore's public sculpture, Reg Butler's fascinating Unknown Political Prisoner and the beginnings of Pop Art with Richard Hamilton.
