History of Boston

This course will explore many aspects of Boston's history, including the origins of the town, the growth of the town in the Medieval era, the building of St Botolph's church, the town's decline in the fifteenth and sixteenth centuries, the impact of the Reformation, the impact of plague and civil war, and revival in the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries.
