Threats of Revolution in Britain 1789 - 1848

UPDATED 20160822 12:22:28

From 1789 - 1848 Britain stood alone as a bastion against revolution. Some historians have speculated on just how close Britain came to a revolution during this period, and why one did not take place. This course will examine the period's key themes, movements and events before developing conclusions about why revolution failed to occur.
