UPDATED 20160822 12:22:25

This course will consider how over time the Western has reflected the shifting concerns of society. Whether it be loneliness (Stagecoach, The Searchers), the place of women (Johnny Guitar, Meek's Cutoff), growing old (Unforgiven) or politics (High Noon) it's all there in the Western.
