Renaissance in Italian history

Between the traumatic events of the Black Death (c.1348) to the Sack of Rome (1527) Italy experienced the cultural experience we label the Renaissance. These sessions explore the stories of that time and the many fascinating personalities â€" artists and geniuses, condottiere and adventurers, dukes and duchesses, saints and sinners, merchants and bankers - that were part of the Renaissance.
