Geology: The Chilterns - Ice Age to Iron Age

UPDATED 20160822 12:19:36

This will be a hands-on course to explore the main events of the Ice Age through to the Iron Age, and how each step has shaped our landscape - mingling geology with archaeology! We will look at how our local landscape was shaped by ice and intervening warm periods during the last 2.6 million years. We then explore how people have used that landscape from the Stone Age through to the Iron Age.
