What do we mean when we talk about self-esteem, confidence and assertiveness? How they are connected with each other and what happens when they are low? Do you ever feel that the ways in which you think about yourself hold you back from achieving things you want to in life? Do you find it difficult to put yourself and your strengths across to other people confidently? This is a short course that will look at this area - how we sometimes 'get in our own way' and how our thoughts about ourselves and our behaviours in the world are intimately linked. It will give you a chance to think about where your low confidence might come from and to experiment with alternative ways of thinking and behaving that will begin to allow your self-esteem, confidence and assertiveness to grow so that you don't hold yourself back.
