The NCFE Level 2 Diploma in Sports Coaching (Football) course is suited to students who wish to learn how to coach and to develop their experience in working with groups in a football environment. The course is aimed at 16-19 year olds who have just completed their GCSEs, or are looking to get back into education to study in this expanding and desirable subject area. The course provides a solid grounding for students wishing to enter the world of sports coaching particularly in football and coaching skills are taught and developed throughout the course. The course will allow progression onto Level 3 courses or entering employment.

The NCFE programme will use continuous assessment rather than examinations and you will be able to track your performance as you work towards your targets and goals. Your tutor will encourage you to develop evaluation skills and teach you how to reflect and improve your coaching over the year.
