The BTEC Level 1 Diploma in Sport and Active Leisure is suited to students who wish to explore and learn about sport in a practical context. The course is aimed at 16-19 year olds who have just completed their GCSEs, or are looking to get back into education to study in this expanding and desirable subject area. The course provides an introductory grounding for students wishing to enter the world of sports coaching, fitness instructing, personal training or working in a leisure centre.
