Creative Media Production and Technology - Games Development Extended Diploma Level 3

On the course students will develop an in depth understanding of the computer games industry and the skills required to produce and develop a portfolio of industry relevant advanced designs and game assets. Alongside designing and creating 2D and 3D assets and game levels, students will learn key skills in design and concept development using industry standard software and resources. Students will produce a portfolio that includes concept development through sketching, observational drawing and digital painting, and products created using a variety of 2D & 3D software and professional games engines. Students will also produce animations and have experimented with contemporary games technology. Students will also develop teamwork, idea development and design skills which are key to the games industry.
