Carpentry has existed as a trade for thousands of years, and is a tradition that continues to be popular today. Three main specialisms thrive today: site carpentry, bench joinery and shopfitting bench joinery. Our qualifications cover all these trades and will help to forge a career in the construction industry. Our qualifications are aimed at people wishing to learn some skills in carpentry and joinery, to progress on to becoming skilled in their chosen trade, or to progress through an apprenticeship and work towards becoming a master craftsman.
